Summary
The setting is the Hundred Years' War. The English have defeated the French. In the final scene of the play Suffolk, an English lord tries to convince the King, Gloucester and Exeter that King Henry should marry Margaret, the daughter of the king of Naples. In this final monologue the king accepts to marry her and sends Suffolk to France to get Margaret. He also apologizes to Gloucester and Exeter for his decision.
