Charlie Allnut tries to break Rose Sawyer's silence
Summary
Charlie Allnut is a rough-and-ready Canadian boat captain working in East Africa during the Great War. During their hard journey she even convinces him to attack a German warship with their steamboat. The two characters have opposite personalities.
