Summary
Howard Beale is an ageing TV anchorman who works for UBS. SInce his ratings are deteriorating he is fired. He reacts by announcing that he will commit suicide on live TV. He becomes very popular and as a consequence the network's executives let him go on the air with his own show. He gives crazy speeches and rants and this monologue is one of them. The monologue ends with him urging people to go to the windows and yell "I'm mad as hell, I'm not going to take this anymore!".
