Summary
Amy is married to Edward, a businessman. Edward's enemy has plotted to ruin his business and his marriage. He has tricked him in order to make him believe that his wife Amy has cheated on him. In this scene Edward has just confronted Amy about her infidelity and has asked her to leave the house. In this monologue Amy begs him to let her stay.
