Summary

This play is a drama that focuses on a dysfunctional and poor family of rural California. The family is about to lose their house. Wesley is the idealistic son and Emma is his rebellious sister. Their father is a drunkard, the mother is a burn out who is desperately trying to save what's left of their family. In this scene we find Wesley cleaning up the stage. The night before his dad, after getting drunk, breaks into the house, forcing his scared wife to call the police. Wesley is cleaning the mess that his father has caused. He talks to his mother, frustrated, about what he remembers of the night before.
