Summary
The story is set in an imaginary, violent, sci-fi future where rock stars, called "Markers", face each other and fight to the death to dominate and control their territories, called "marks", with the help and direction of "The Keepers". The top Marker, Hoss, is now facing a dangerous opposition, led by the "Gypsies", who operate outside the official rules. After his main rival, Mojo Root Force, makes a move into Hoss' Las Vegas territory, Hoss feels threatened. In this monologue, directed to his girlfriend/manager Becky and his physician, Doc, Hoss expresses his frustrations and fears.
