Summary
Jennie Malone is a soap opera actress who is married to George Schneider, a recently widowed writer. The play focuses on their troubled romance as they try to figure out if they did the choice by getting married. Jennie has just got out of an unhappy marriage with a football player and George is still in love with his deceased wife. In order to spend some time alone and make the right decisions, George decides to leave for a trip to the West Coast. Before he leaves, Jennie confronts him and expresses her feelings about him, their marriage and their future.
