Summary

Elizabeth Swann (Keira Kightley) is the daughter of the English governor of a Caribbean island. She is kidnapped by a group of pirates who sail on a mythical ship called the "Black Pearl". Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp), a pirate, and Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), a blacksmith, look for the pirate ship to save her. In this scene Elizabeth is dining with the captain of the pirate ship, Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush), who tells her she was kidnapped because she had something that belonged to them, a gold medallion, which was part of a stone chest full of gold that belonged to Cortez. That gold had a curse that struck them after they found that gold. Now, in order to escape that curse, they have to restore every single piece of gold into the chest....
