Summary
Set in the 50s in a small Texas town, this is a coming of age drama about a group of young kids between boyhood and manhood. Sam the Lion (Ben Johnson), the old owner of a small fast food and hang out place, is kind of the father figure and mentor of all these kids. In this scene he is out in the countryside with his kid and Sonny Crawford (Timothy Bottoms), one of the kids that hangs out at his place. Looking at the scenery, he tells Sonny about his old memories of the place and his wife....
