About this piece
Lucky's long rambling monologue
Summary
Two tramps wait for a man named Godot but instead they meet a pompous man, Pozzo, and his slave Lucky. This is pretty much all he says in the whole play/film and this monologue takes place when the tramps ask Pozzo to make Lucky "think". Pozzo tells them that when Lucky is wearing his hat, he is capable of thinking. They give him his hat and Lucky delivers this rambling and long monologue where he ponders about the nature of God, men and the earth...
