About this piece
Jack reflects on being a father
Summary
Fran and Molly are good friends. Molly is married to Jack but their marriage is on the rocks as Jack feels Molly doesn't love him anymore and is using him to have kids. They already have a daughter and she is soon to deliver another baby. This scene comes right after Molly delivers her baby. Jack is in the hospital cafeteria with Fran. He is still shocked by his child's birth and in a scene which is pretty much Jack's monologue, he expresses his doubts, fears and frustrations about being a father and a husband.
