Summary
Max Carlyle (Wesley Snipes) is a commercials director who lives in Los Angeles. He finds out his friend Charlie (Robert Downey Jr.) has been diagnosed with AIDS and he goes to New York to visit him. There he meets Karen and the two have a one night stand. Some time later he goes back to NY to see Charlie again, as he is dying, and there he meets Karen again.... This is Max's monologue as he introduces himself the audience and tells us about his friendship with Charlie.
