Summary
Mark Whitacre is an improbable corporate whistleblower that works for ADM, Archer Daniels Midland, a company that develops lysine, a food additive. Pressured by his wife, Mark Whitacre starts collaborating with the FBI when he discovers that his company is involved in an international price fixing conspiracy. But Mark Whitacre is also a manic depressive who suffers of bipolar disorder. He starts believing he is secret agent and also ends up stealing millions of dollars from his company. At the end he gets 9 and a half years in federal prison. Here we are at the end of the movie. Mark is in jail and is recording a message to the president, apologizing for what he has done and asking for a pardon. He sounds more normal but still we can tell there's something left of his bipolar disorder...
