Summary
Phileas Fogg is an English nobleman who, while playing cards with his friends at a gentlemen's club, bets them 5000 pounds that he will be able to travel around the world in 80 days. This scene takes place at his gentlemen's club. Phileas Fogg is playing cards with 5 friends of his. After discussing a recent bank robbery with one of the directors of the bank, they start arguing whether it is possible to travel the world in less than 3 months. Phileas Fogg bets he can do it in 80 days....
