Summary
There are various stories in this film, all presenting either abnormal relatiosnhips or perverted people. The main stories are about three sisters, Joy is a failed musician who lives alone, Trish is rich and has a successful husband who happens to be a pedophile, Helen is into S&M. At the same time, their parents marriage is unraveling as their father, Lenny Jordan (Ben Gazzara) wants to leave her wife Mona (Louise Lasser) and live alone in Florida. In this scene Mona was on the phone with her daughter Trish, telling her that her husband wants to divorce her. After Lenny talks on the phone with Trish, he puts the phone down and tells her he just want to leave her to live alone. He tells her he isn't in love with anybody else, he just wants out...
