About this piece
Marie and Fred have an argument on how to commit suicide
Summary
Woman Times Seven is a collection of seven short stories of adultery. In the story "Marie" we find Marie and her lover Fred in a hotel room, depressed and lamenting their life. We later find out they are there to commit suicide together. The scene starts when they are on the bed, holding hands. After she asks him if there is anything else he wants to say, Fred takes out a gun. We find out what they are really up to. She asks why should they use a gun if they can kill themselves in other ways, such as jumping out the window or taking pills. After a heated argument they make peace. The scene is about 90 minutes into the movie.
