About this piece
John gets upset at her lover Cynthia because she masturbated in front of Graham
Summary
John (Peter Gallagher) and Ann (Andie MacDowell) are married but have a troubled relationship, due to Ann's frigidity. John is also cheating on Ann with her free-spirited sister Cynthia (Laura San Giacomo). Things start to change when Graham (James Spader), John's college friend, moves into town and stays at their place for a few days. Ann and Graham get to know each other and talk about their problems. Ann tells him about her indifference to sex and Graham confesses that he is impotent. Some time later Ann visits Graham at his house and notices stacks of videotapes with women's names on them. When Graham confesses that those are videotapes of women that he has interviewed regarding their sexual lives, Ann is shocked and leaves. When she tells her sister about Graham, Cynthia is intrigued and decides to visit Graham. Cynthia goes to Graham's place and meets him and, the very first time they meet, Graham convinces her to let him interview her about her sex life and she ends up masturbating in front of him. In this scene John, after learning about what happened with Graham, confronts Cynthia about it....
