About this piece

Jack gets propositioned by Ann in his car

Summary

The film is about three Irish-Catholic brothers who struggle to deal with relationships, marriage and infidelity. Jack (Jack Mulcahy) has been married with Molly for 5 years and doesn't feel ready to start a family. Barry (Edward Burns) is dedicated to his film career and is afraid of commitment. Patrick (Mike McGlone) is torn between his commitment to his religion and his love for a Jewish girl. In this scene Jack drives Ann, a friend he is attracted to, back to her house after celebrating Molly's birthday party. After briefly flirting with Jack, Ann cuts to the chase and tells him she wants to find herself "a nice married man" to have an affair with. Jack turns down the offer.
