Summary
The film is about three Irish-Catholic brothers who struggle to deal with relationships, marriage and infidelity. Patrick (Mike McGlone) is torn between his commitment to his religion and his love for a Jewish girl. Barry (Edward Burns) is dedicated to his film career and is afraid of commitment. However he meets Audrey (Maxine Bahns) and falls for her. When his career finally takes off, he decides to break off their relationship. In this scene, towards the end of the movie, Audrey confronts her boyfriend Barry because she realizes he won't commit. She decides to leave him. They are in their apartment and she is just finishing packing her bags. She accuses him of being a coward and Barry tells her he is breaking off their relationship because he won't have time for it. The phone rings and Barry picks it up. It's his agent. She tells him she will never love anybody like she loved him and leaves.
